What is Cwmaman Our Vision - Our future?

This Action Plan is about the future of Cwmaman. It is a strategy which has been developed by the Cwmaman Community First Partnership Board, to enable individuals, employers, voluntary organisations, churches, chapels, clubs, societies in Cwmaman to work together with the local Authority, and the Welsh Assembly to secure the social, economic and environmental well being of the community.

“Over the next 10 years to create a fair, just and thriving community for all, free from disadvantage”.

Our Values
To achieve our vision we will be guided in all our work by the following values:

Create a safer and inclusive community where everyone can reach their full potential regardless of gender, age, race, disability or religion and be involved in the process of that change.
Meet the needs of Cwmaman today without compromising the ability of our children and future generations meeting theirs.
Building a future where cultural diversity is valued and where there is opportunity for everyone in Cwmaman.

The Community First Action Plan, Cwmaman - Our Vision Our Future sets out the aims, objectives and targets to achieve this. By working together we have the best possible chance of success, using shared aims and resources to rebuild a better future for our community. In particular, we will tackle social exclusion, and work towards an inclusive community with equality of opportunity and social justice for everyone.
